ಬಾಲಕ ಕಳೆದುಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 40 ಸಿಂಹಗಳಿವೆ. ಅಂದಾಜು 1,470 ಚದರ ಕಿ.ಮೀ ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣ ಇರುವ ಈ ಪಾರ್ಕ್, ಒಂದು ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾದಲ್ಲೇ ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಿಂಹಗಳಿರುವ ಉದ್ಯಾನ ಎನಿಸಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ಸ್ ಹೇಳಿದೆ.
