ಮುಂಬೈ: ಐಪಿಎಲ್ 2022 ಟೂರ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 'ಗೋ ಗ್ರೀನ್' ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ರಾಯಲ್ ಚಾಲೆಂಜರ್ಸ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ತಂಡವು ಭಾನುವಾರ (ಮೇ, 8) ಸನ್‌ರೈಸರ್ಸ್ ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಸಿರು ಪೋಷಾಕು ಧರಿಸಿ ಕಣಕ್ಕಿಳಿಯಲಿದೆ.

2011ರಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋ ಗ್ರೀನ್ ಅಭಿಯಾನವನ್ನು ಆರ್‌ಸಿಬಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷ ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಸಿರು ಪೋಷಾಕು ಧರಿಸಿ ಕಣಕ್ಕಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಆದರೂ ಪಂದ್ಯದ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್‌ಸಿಬಿ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಹಸಿರು ಜೆರ್ಸಿ ಅದೃಷ್ಟ ತಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ಈ ಜೆರ್ಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಡಿರುವ 9 ಪಂದ್ಯಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ಎರಡು ಬಾರಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. 2011ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿ ಹಸಿರು ಪೋಷಾಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಡಿದಾಗ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿ ಟಸ್ಕರ್ಸ್ ಕೇರಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ವಿಕೆಟ್ ಅಂತರದ ಗೆಲುವು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿತ್ತು.
ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ ಆರ್‌ಸಿಬಿ ನೀಲಿ ಪೋಷಾಕು ಧರಿಸಿ ಕಣಕ್ಕಿಳಿದಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಕೋವಿಡ್-19 ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯ ಸೇನಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿತ್ತು.
